- The battery has started to swell, and the back or screen is lifting
- The fingerprint reader stopped working after a drop

Why Pixel owners end up here
Pixels aren't as common as iPhones, so it can take a few calls to find someone who keeps up with them. We work on them here, and that's a comfort when the phone you depend on suddenly won't do its job.
One customer's review tells the story: he needed a new screen on a Pixel 8, it arrived the next day, it went on in about an hour, and his charging port got cleaned on the spot. That last part happens a lot. Pixels have a USB-C port that sits right where pocket lint collects, and a clogged port often looks like a dying battery. So we check that first.
What we'll check
We test charging, the screen, the fingerprint reader and the cameras while the phone's in our hands. Pixel screens are bonded to the frame, so a repair means carefully working through adhesive, and we seal it back up afterward. As with any phone, it's best to treat it as less water resistant after it's been opened.
Rob and his team are top notch. He got a new screen for my Pixel 8 the next day and had it installed in about an hour. He also cleaned my charging port on the spot while assisting other customers. I would utilize their services in a heartbeat!
Questions we get a lot
Which Pixels do you repair?
Pixel phones from recent years are the most common here, including the 8 series. Give us a call with your model number and we'll tell you about parts and timing.
How fast can I get a Pixel screen?
It depends on the model, and we'll know as soon as you call. One customer with a Pixel 8 had a new screen arrive the next day, and it went on in about an hour.
Does the fingerprint reader work after a new screen?
On Pixels with the reader under the screen, it has to be recalibrated with the new display. We take care of that and have you test it before you go.
Why is my Pixel's battery bulging?
Lithium batteries can swell as they age or fail. Stop charging it and bring it in soon. A swollen battery can push the screen up from the frame and is a real safety concern.
