Does this sound familiar?
- Your screen is cracked, has lines through it, or stopped responding to your finger
- Battery health has dropped and the phone won't make it through the afternoon
- The cable has to sit at just the right angle before it charges
- The back glass shattered, or the camera lens cover cracked
- It got wet, or it won't turn on at all
What we fix on iPhones
Screens are the most common job, and usually the quickest. Batteries come next, especially once a phone hits two or three years old and starts shutting down at 30 percent on a cold January morning. We also replace charging ports, cameras and speakers, and we replace back glass, which Apple makes a bigger job than it looks on many models.
Before any of that, we often clean the charging port. A surprising number of "broken" iPhones just have a pocket's worth of lint packed in there, and it takes a minute to find out.
How an iPhone repair goes
Tell us what's going on, and we'll look it over at the counter. We'll let you know what it needs and how long it should take, and you can decide from there. A lot of people use the time to walk around downtown Anoka or grab lunch. When it's done, we test the screen, Face ID or Touch ID, speakers, camera and charging, so you aren't the one finding out about a problem later.
A note on water resistance
Any time an iPhone is opened, the factory seal is disturbed. We put it back together carefully, but it's wise to treat a repaired phone as less water resistant than it was when new. That's true of every repair shop, including the big ones.
Rob was very courteous, helped me right away. Replaced my screen on my phone in forty five minutes. Plus he put on a screen protector for me. I definitely would recommend this company. Thank you Rob
Questions we get a lot
Which iPhones do you work on?
Current models and plenty of older ones. One of our customers first came to us for an iPhone 5c more than ten years ago. Call with your model if you want to check that we have the part ready.
Will my iPhone show a message about the part?
Newer iPhones can show a notice that a part couldn't be verified after an independent repair. The phone keeps working normally. Some features can behave a little differently depending on the part, so we'll go over what to expect for your model before we start.
Do you need my passcode?
For most repairs we don't need to get into your phone, though it helps us test everything afterward. If you'd rather not share it, tell us and we'll work out how to test it with you at the counter.
Can you fix my iPhone if Apple said it isn't worth it?
It's worth asking. Apple's service options are built around swapping large parts. We can often repair the one piece that failed.
Should I back up first?
If the phone still works well enough, yes. Most repairs don't touch your data, but a fresh iCloud backup costs you nothing and is good protection against any bad day.
