Samsung Galaxy Tab repair in Anoka, MN

A cracked Galaxy Tab is common, and fewer shops want to work on them than iPads. Bring your Tab A or Tab S to our shop in downtown Anoka, and we'll fix the screen, battery or charging port, or give you an honest answer if it doesn't make sense.

Does this sound familiar?

  • A crack across the glass or a black blot spreading under it
  • Lines on the display or a screen that flickers
  • USB-C cable falls out or only charges at an angle
  • Battery drops quickly, or the tablet gets warm on the charger
  • Stuck on the Samsung logo after an update

Why people bring us Galaxy Tabs

Plenty of families buy a Galaxy Tab as the less expensive tablet for the kids, and it does the job very well until it hits the kitchen floor. Then it can feel hard to find someone who'll work on it. We see these regularly, and we'll tell you straight what we'd do if it were ours.

What the repair looks like

Like most modern tablets, a Galaxy Tab is held together with adhesive and clips. The screen is usually one bonded piece, so a cracked panel often means a full screen assembly. On a Tab S, that screen is an AMOLED panel with fine color and a matching price, while Tab A screens tend to be simpler LCDs. The charging port often sits on a replaceable part, and that makes it one of the better values if your tablet has become fussy about its cable.

A note about kids' tablets

If this one belongs to a child, a thick case with a handle or a raised edge will save you a return trip. And if the tablet is used mostly for videos, it's worth checking that it still has enough storage, as full tablets get slow, and that can look like a hardware problem. We're happy to take a look while it's here.

They fixed my phone screen and cleaned out all of my ports and helped with a screen protector at the best price I could find. Definitely will be recommending others!

Questions we get a lot

Which Galaxy Tab models can you fix?

The Tab A and Tab S families are the most common. Galaxy Tabs come in many sizes, so call with your model number and we'll check parts for you. It's under Settings, then About tablet.

Is a Tab A worth repairing?

Sometimes it is, and sometimes it isn't. Tab A models cost less new, so a screen can be a close call, while a battery or charging port is more often worth it. We'll give you our honest opinion.

Will the S Pen still work on my Tab S after a repair?

It should, and we check the pen on the new screen before you take it home. Bring your S Pen along so we can test with the one you use.

Can you save what's on the tablet?

Screen and port repairs don't touch your files. If the tablet is on its last legs, ask us about moving your photos and files somewhere safe.

Bring it by. We'll take a look.
