Does this sound familiar?
- A work computer is down, and you can't do business without it
- The office Wi-Fi drops during card payments or video calls
- The printer won't print from anyone's computer but one
- You have no real backup, and you know it
- You're setting up a new office or adding a computer for a new employee
Technology help on a small business scale
You don't want a big IT contract with a lot of fine print. You want someone local you can call when something breaks, somebody who'll explain it plainly and who'll be around next year. That's who we are. We've been in downtown Anoka since 2014, and we know that when your one office computer goes down, business stops.
What we help with
Computers. Repairs, cleanups and tune-ups, and setting up new computers with your files moved over.
Networks. Wi-Fi that reaches your whole building, and a separate guest network so customers aren't on the same connection as your business computers.
Backups. Most small businesses we talk with have their books and customer records on one computer. That's a problem we can fix in an afternoon, and we'll sleep better knowing it's done.
Security basics. Updates, reliable passwords, and removing old accounts from people who've moved on. These small things head off many of the problems that hit small offices.
Your first call
Call the shop and tell us what you've got. There's no need to speak in technical terms, as "the card reader quit and the Wi-Fi seems strange" is enough to get started. If it's something that we shouldn't be handling, we'll tell you who should. We'd much rather earn your trust than sell you something you don't need.
Fast, friendly great service. Pleasant to work with, knowledgeable and efficient.
Questions we get a lot
Do you only work with big companies?
The opposite. We're a small local business too, and we like helping other small businesses. A one-person shop with one computer is a perfectly good customer.
Can you handle something urgent?
Call and tell us what's going on. We'll tell you honestly how soon we can get there. If it's a repair we can do at the shop, bringing it in may be the fastest route.
Can you set up backups for our files?
Yes, and we strongly recommend it. A simple setup with a local copy and a cloud copy protects you from a failed drive, a virus or a stolen laptop.
Can you help with point-of-sale or specialty software?
Tell us what you use when you call. Specialty software often has its own support line, but we can usually make sure that your computer and network aren't what's causing the trouble.
